My Compass Exo.
« on: May 01, 2018, 08:51:12 PM »
Hey ,  I have sold a few heli's lately  for various reasons and really only want the one which will be a go to heli fort all occasions.

So with the above I  mind,  I settled with the Compass Exo from Mick Dee of Compass Heli Australia,  but although the heli came from him originally,  I did purchase it from a FB group member with only a handfull of flights on it.

The heli was in near prefect condition and pretty well built,  but i did spend a fair bit of time on the head side of it mechanically to get it perfect.

The Exo has mks servos,  rage motor , Hobbywing 100 amp v4 pro speedy with cooling fan and it is a unique design,  rigid and very responsive.

It is nothing short of a ball tearing power house on roids.

Here are a few picks.

They have definitely changed a bit since I have been flying....

This year I will end up with some spare time again and would love to get back into flying again..

Hey Kev, yeah they have mate. I don't get out flying much, but when I do it is an absolute ball, but to really progress with what I am able to do, I need more time to fly.

I have also just got another camera for the Gimbal on my hex as in the picture and I'll be filming myself flying. I'll fly the Exo and the Hexacopter will be flying itself ( Via Loiter mode, Gps position hold), so it should be fun.

Cheers Dave.
