Steve, my issue is that when killer rc came out with their powerstarter, it was a drill powered starter for the baja, it wasnt allowed on tracks. But this is? There seems to be a bit of a double standard happening here

I can see that rule not changing... The power starter won't be allowed on track... The car would need to be started from the pits...

But the Baja doesn't NEED one to start, its an aftermarket optoion. This Elcon does need it! so I don't see double standards at all.

i know it doesnt need it, the baja doesnt need most of the crap that is sold for them, but people would like to have one if there is an option. At the time, i asked if they were allowed, and i was told no, because they required an external device to start the car, and that was against the rules, so how is this different? but either way, this is getting off topic again. i'll concede so we can get back onto topic.
