Rc is slowly creeping back into my life
« on: March 24, 2018, 10:12:25 AM »
G'day to all the ol'boy's that I haven't chatted with for a while and welcome to all the new members I'm yet to meet.  In the last few months I bought a big yacht back off a Fatcat and my son got a Axial 1/10 yeti for his birthday.  I'm getting a bit bored watching him drive around so last night I purchased a Losi 8ight 3 second hand off FB for $350.  It's my kind of buggy with a castle MMM combo in it for all my 6s bashing.  If someone could share a link to all the parts to upgrade it to a truggy I'd appreciate it very much as I'd like the extra height to get over all the rocks around my home town.  I picked up a Mavic pro about a year ago and I recon it'll come in handy when we're driving together.  My son is on my back to buy rc boas and a few more cars so I guess we'll be getting back into a bit, see you around. headbang

Nothing bro, I got a good deal with a mystery box of hobby stuff a few weeks ago and am happy to pay it forward some.

I ran them through the pl8 and got m ohm readings of off the cells a couple of days ago.

I can post them after payday next week for ya?

Cheers Dave.

Wow Millzee long time mate, that’s awesome about you and your son getting back into RC mate nice one

You’ll probably just need axle entenders and larger truggy wheels to convert it from memory!

Sounds great.
The f*&*^*% prick I had a deal with on the losi 8ight has sold it to someone else over the weekend cause they offered more money than we agreed on.  What a dog, I've ordered batteries, a servo and a radio for this buggy and now I'll never get it.  If you know Kris Andrea, tell that c*(% to watch his back.

If that was the car and the guy Danny, he reckons it's still available on Gumtree.

I messaged him asking about it and he just got back to me.
