PhantomII 1/4 scale
« on: April 22, 2017, 08:40:04 PM »
Hello gents

It's time to build a 1/4 scale with a twist.... some custom parts will be added and with and will compliment a nice power plant, I leave that to last. The theme again is one of my faviorite colours as you will see. The frame is a pro1 on road made of chromoly steel. I picked this pirticular brand for its rear open space the mid rear where the engine sits. So there's no issue with sizes of engine.  I spent a good time stripping back paint.

I have used a 2 pack heat resistant paint that is used on break calippers. The company is BCS paints at Revesby. This paint sticks on anything even Rc bodies they had there.  I tried to bend it and fold it at points didn't seem to crack or split or peel. They have a vid of it getting painted so if your interested check YouTube.

Hopefully in the next few weeks more parts will arrive, and some modifications will be happening. I try and keep it interesting as much as possible. Cheers
