How's it goin..

Just joined up to get some info on my first 1/5 scale im about to buy...very soon i hope...

Already own a Traxxas Rustler VXL which for some reason continues to cost me $$$ so i'm getting away from electric and going to give the petrol a go..I tend to obsess over a certain hobby for a while then move onto something else after a while but eventually come back to it..

I'm about to start a thread asking for opinions on which way to go into my first 1/5 so jump in and give your opinion..

If you can afford it go straight to Losi 5t roller and buy a motor to suit Race 30.5 or bash even bigger

Thanks mate, one of my options was going to be the 30 deg North DDT roller with a Zenoah 32 engine & pipe with a pair of solid servos...but i do worry about the quality of the parts as ive read alot of negative things on clones...

I can say the 30 N dtt are great i have 1 and race it anything i have done to it to race gets done to a losi 5t to i love mine and the body can take a massive beating and aussie hobbies stand by them strongly and always quick to help.

welcome mate enjoy all the info and help from the guys on another note the DTT is a bloody great truck but diff gears do fail thats about the the worst of it some last a long time other only a couple of months but thats the only weak part on the truck body is instructable lol

It seemed every time I drove my rustler something broke and 20 min runtime on a 3s lipo isn't a lot..they are crazy fast but..doing 60/70 kmh then nail it and they will wheelie out of control..
