Hi every one in LSD
« on: January 21, 2017, 02:33:16 PM »
Hi Guys. A Happy New Year to every one
My name is Casey nearly 70 years old/young...Newby from Oxenford Queensland.
Just started in the 1/5 scale  but already have come across a lot of problems. I have a 1/10 traxxas electric and a thundertiger 1/8 nitro so i thought it was time to go 1/5 2 stroke.
I got this rovan baja second hand that seemed to be ok when i had a test run but then i did not really know what to check. I am hoping to meet some one from the area that can help me a little on my way with advise and maybe sometimes can give a little supervision and maybe even drop in some day to have a look at it and tell me what i need to do and how it all works.

Howdy Casey *bananahi*

Not sure if you have it but first thing you need is a printed and bound copy of

Then strip it completely, start a build thread and just work your way thru it headbang
That way you know it's been put together properly, any issues get sorted and troubleshooting becomes easier with much less guesswork. The build thread is the best way to sort any issues or questions that you have nice and quickly because even tho it's a bit quiet here at the moment there's a lot of knowledge floating about and plenty of helpful chaps.....Plus I like pictures *rofl*
Contempt without prior investigation will guarantee everlasting ignorance
