Come on Darren show some respect to the forum members...... You canít just come right out and ask for something like an onroad car for free.... At least introduce yourself and get to know the members etc....

not sure how it works in S,A

but over here in sydney the rc shop use to hire one out for the day. so you can try before ya buy .. great idea but not sure if its still like that atm..

ring your on road club president and ask them if they have a loan car or rental one ...or if they have some sort of rental option..

be lucky if ya get somebody to give ya there spare car these days  which you can't blame em for just in case 6 months down the line iyou put it up for sale ...

Well then you need to  tell "him" to read the forums rules first before trying to scab a freebie not that it was really going to work anyway although I think I might go in to my lhs tommorow and ask them if I can have a free Xmax  😒😒

I lent my FG mini to 2 people last year, but I knew them both. They were deciding if they wanted to race a mini, and since have purchased their own.
Won't do it this year because I'm wanting to get a lot of practice in pre-nationals in November. Did the SA state and Vic Titles earlier this year, and realised I needed more practice.

Andrew

P.S. even as a 4 year old second hand mini, I wouldn't just give it away, it's still worth good money.
