Thought I would put up a warning for people who are considering buying or getting their engines modified JCR.

from my experience and those who have opened their JCR modded engines, have all confirmed that the work is pretty poor. Not only is the work very rough, but no real mods have been done to enhance the performance.

What he does do is score / scratch the surface to look like he has modified it.

I'll post some pics up soon to show his work.

If you want to get some cheap engine work done, hit up Pagey, not this hack.

Ok here are some photos of my motor that was modified by JCR, it was never started, I pulled it apart as I suspected there was something wrong when there was no gains from another engine that I had modified by them.

I was billed for a new piston, and when I questioned why I didn't get one, he said it was like new so he didn't replace it.... I'm doesn't look like new to me

This was supposed to be a lightened flywheel, again just some light scoring of the metal to look like something has been done visitors can't see pics , please You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login or You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

He could have at least broke off a few fins to lighten up that flywheel a bit more *rofl*
Blokes like this are the main cause of speculation and suspicion that lead buyer to question everything, what a tosser.  Send it back in a box with a pigs head and your bank details so he can refund your money.

It makes it hard for guys like me who do genuinely modify an engine and often get guys who message ya a hundred times then go ahead and buy a Big brand name and then have nothing but dramas with it !!
I keep my services as cheap as possible so guys on a budget can get a good performance engine done cheaply and done to a high standard not just given a wipe over and slapped back together !! Not always do you get what ya pay for now days !!

He's been doing the rounds on Facebook pages flogging off his engines and offering his race porting. He also sells rebuilt engines on eBay.

What's making it harder to spread the word, is Facebook has so many messages that it pushes these types of warnings away from view very quickly. Hence why I'm sharing here, at least it may turn up on a Google search for potential customers

Here are some more pics from another engine he built.
He attempted to crosshatch the cylinder, removing the Nikasil. Looks to be a hand job with sand paper.

some people never learn ... aldi grinder is best on the market for any porting work...

Just thought I would post this up for a laugh, I nearly fell off my chair reading his response about joining the cranks.

This is coming from a bloke with 20+ years of 2 stroke experience

Personally I would mount one crank in a vice, start up the second motor and wind them together to friction weld them together.... 1chainsaw1
