Crazy Stu's engineering team have worked hard in developing the ultimate chassis for the DBXL, overcoming the stock chassis poor design with specifically resolving the lack of strength and features of the stock Losi chassis.

Strength was a serious concern for the team at Crazy Stuís Design and Fabrication, and as you shall see below, there wasn't a single corner cut, or feature not included to ensure this chassis is unparalleled for engineering and strength, the two standout hallmarks of all Crazy Stuís Design and Fabrication.

* One-piece aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminium:

Unbeatable chassis strength, perfect for those with heavily modified rigs and anyone wishing to generally preserve the car from extremely common damage to shafts, bearings, gearing mesh, and fuel tank (just to name a few), all due to the large amount of flex of the stock chassis causing serious alignment issues.

* Longer and wider droop-screw chassis wings:

Allows centralisation of the droop screw with more chassis material around it for optimal support, compared to the stock location that leaves the droop screw on the extreme edge of the wing with almost no support.

* Increase in chassis thickness:

Crazy Stu couldn't just stop at increasing just the quality of the chassis material for core strength, we wanted to make this chassis ready to cop some serious punishment and horsepower, so we also increased the chassis thickness from 4mm, to a monster 5mm!
We have also machined only the bare minimum into the chassis to give you more metal for you money!

* Limited edition custom shallow "Crazy Stu" engraving (top and bottom)

*Polished raw finish

* Removal of unused 10mm holes in the chassis for increased chassis strength up front where its needed the most.

* Adaptation of 5IVE-T engine mount chassis inserts:

Perfectly engineered to accept the stock 5IVE-T inserts which will offer the user a perfect gear mesh every time, with the following wide-range of possible pinion/spur combinations to suit any environment, and any engine tune :
