Bugger bit hard to see much but it's there , hope you guys get the idea. Top 2 pics should be straight , that's the front straight/pit entry and about were the drivers stand will be with the sun going across behind so it will never be in your eyes

Need someone with a drone to take a shot to really get the scale and layout of it all . Near the dirt mounds on the right is a bit of room for the test and tune straight and drag strip that runs along the perimeter and to the left of the shot is the parking/ back up pit area , were the pics are taken from is the drivers stand and main pit area. There is no room left lol we used it all hahahah

its hard to grasp the size of it by the pics, but it is a giant track. You could drive a small hatchback around it with 5m wide lanes thumbsup

Thanks to those who came and helped out, you know who you are. It was a good productive day with much accomplished, just need track edging delivered[which is getting organised] then its all go.

As for you richo, why waste your time posting in here if your just gonna be a stooge about it. Instead of criticising why don't you come and help out.

Sorry I couldn't of stayed longer and helped but I had family bullshit going on.

Was good to meet a few more good blokes and hats off to Fredo and Gav and everyone involved in making this all happen. It's been a long time coming

The track is better than I imagined it would be and has the potential to be the best one in Australia and the space we have to use is massive.

A big thanks also goes to all involved in designing the track layout, it's awesome with quite a few fast flowing corners with some technical parts to and a nice back straight.

Don't worry won't be breaking this stuff if anyone does manage to snap / break or shatter this stuff I'll but them a case of beer . Good for 100 years under ground and 55 on top in full sun so I'm told , we won't have a problem with this and it's as much as we want for a case of beer.

Next time phil

Just a heads up on them pipes don't use a steel peg on top or anything sticking out the top of pipe   Seen many of those pegs do some serious damage to cars

We got a load of pipe to the track today. I will let the pics speak for themselves as to how strong it will be.

Here is the pile:

The pipe pictured is Communications Conduit, the top pic is 2.5" diameter and the bottom pic is 4" diameter. I want to see someone break this from racing on it.

Big thanks to phil for getting the van and helping out headbang . Will start a new thread to see if we can get more hands to help load and unload more piping and if we can get more trailers to load this stuff on for next Saturday for a few hours at least. We made a very good dent on what's needed today but we do need more.

Have you thought about getting a contractor like Interflow or Comdain to see if they could donate a bit of time or gear so you can electrofusion butt weld the pipe lengths together?  I might be able to get you a contact if you find out if that would work / be what you want.
