5B steering upgrade
« on: April 22, 2015, 02:46:01 PM »
Hi all,

What would be the recommend steering upgrade for the 5B ?

I've had a look at the Symsteer / Neoplate and both look to use the Elcon servo saver.
The others I've looked at are reproductions similar to the stock system - Turtle Racing , etc.

What is the general consensus for a bullet proof steering system ?

Jay.

nothing is really bullet proof but i say depends on want you can afford i guess....

i got rid of the rubber orings on the back cut a bit off so i can drill it and fit a piviot ball end on it...

if your going to use the one from the first pic you posted  just make a little half moon bracket that bolts to both ends and runs behind the servo saver so you can mount a piviot ball behind it
