Are you talking about the RCMK XCR 1000 buggy?

yeah nitro rcmk buggy.
so tell me elma you mean you have nuthin good to say bout the scz you have history there?
and this is my research from people who might know.
all I know is I see the dyno sheet and think well that's impressive for a decent price.
don't for a second think im tryin to sell it...
perhaps I should ask the questin if im lookin for a motor with plenty of mid range power I wont be concerned about top end revs, what should I be lookin for?

Don't trust there dyno numbers have seen.a couple few videos no were near wat they claim.
As for the motor you looking at bashing, racing, reed plus wat your budget.
with engines there alot of good engine builers out there scz I would not put up there

righto I will see what the stocker has got first.
simply will be bashin with it but the only other bloke I know in cairns has a f*&^%* fire ball in his baja and no doubt there will be a drag race! I hate to lose.... maybe I should right I like to be competitive.. marduke if your readin this im comin for ya bro!
I saw a few vids with the rooster tails and they would be my next choice at this point, ive not looked at their prices just yet. but one has to take into account that its just a toy and spendin my first borns soul on a motor and then a pipe to match is a sting that im not ready for just yet.. ie a grand or more
I hear what your sayin rod i gave rcmk a shot i may just try the scz while i do some study on porting for a 2 stroke for the rcmk.
cheers elma for a better answer the second time round..

IŽll have to give you an honest opinion about the SCZ.
I havent run it, but iŽve had one in my hands and disassembled it to see what the quality is.
For a chinese brand it is very very good, it has got high quality FAG bearings (you don`t get those in a Zenoah)
The cylinder plating is very tough too, much tougher than a Zenoah, but not as tough as a RCMK or Nikasil. But a little rough, just like the BZM, so it needs alot of oil, i would not recommend going above 25:1.
Crank is very high quality as well, the rod is not machined like the one from BZM, but that is just a cosmetic extra.
Oh, and i almost forgot, the exhaust port is MUCH smoother than the BZM exhaust port. in the BZM you got uneven casting stickouts everywhere so i may well believe that the SCZ produces more power than the BZM.
Only drawback is that you dont get carbon fiber reed petals, but then neither do you get them on the BZM.
And the people that have one, they say it does definitively not lack power, and it hasnt blown up either yet.
Maybe it would also be a good idea to disassemble the engine first and check for errors. For example, i have found a piece of gasket that has not been stamped out completely, it has folded back and landed in between the actual gasket and the reed block and could have produced a leak. Does not mean that that problem exists on every engine, but obviously they didnt check this on every engine.

just checked tracking buggy should be at my door in 2 days..
hey nitro thanks for your input mate well written and honest opinion!
so I understand nikasil coating is a hardening process added to bore, and I think ive seen a piston with such a coating
you were sayin its rough in the scz compared, so the question I ask is it possible to use a brake cylinder hone to polish up this coating.
and does nikasil use cross hatch or is it the nikasil texture that seats ring to bore?
yeah noob question but its been 20 years since I was doin engine recon and none of it was with 2 strokes!

damn I was lookin at that turtle intake and guessed it wouldn't fit... so I went with a tgi and velosity stack and got  a few shapes of 44mm silicon hose to rout it to front of car... all of this is just guess work till its in my hands of course..
