My HPI 5T
« on: December 23, 2014, 10:29:38 AM »
Well I thought it would be best if I started my own little thread for the progress of my 5t as I didn't want to keep going in the "Introduce Yourself" thread.

Here it is in all it's glory

Now I went to OZ Rc yesterday to grab a charge cable for my Onyx charger and came out with a few extra bits which were:
Outwears Pull Start and Air Filter shroud
Killer RC Shock Limiting Cables
and an extra 5000mah receiver packs for that extra run time

So I took it out for its 2nd tank to do a bit of tuning now I only did  tiny adjustments and it feels pretty quick but of course I have nothing to compare it too so what are some key signs that I've got the tune pretty nice

Also grass it collects a lot of grass lol
So much so it gets up underneath the motor cover in where the spark plug is and near where the exhaust mounts on.... What's the quickest way to take the case off Would it be to take the spark the spark plug out and slide it off from there ?? Just means I'll get grass fall inside :s

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I know it's a dum question but you have put a pico in it?
You planning on just racing or just bashing.

With the grass mate if you undo 2 back screws one front screw slide plug lead off cover is the best way mate,if you pull the plug out 1st dirt or grass could find its way in.
Wat most guys have is a little air compressor makes work easy or a paint brush.

Yup pico first!

Had a run away once and if it weren't for a pothole it would have been straight onto a busy road. Scared the shit out of me and I've never let it happen since

First 3 out of 4 Pico swtches I bought were rooted. Ended up racing at SALS without one, well one that worked and when I sold Stu the MDC that one was rooted as well. Had no probs with Killer Bee though.

If it's from PSR then it will be a "Bee Killer" then.
They are not a clone as such just branded shit........
I use one direct from the guy that builds them(his own packaging) been using it for about three years now with no problems.
The older I get, the bigger the toys........
