Ok'' Gents a quick run or should I say short lived.. The new intake track is working fine. needs a bit of fine tuning up top. Probably best it wasn't with Peter driving as you can see. The Olimat pipe is nice it seems to peak Mid to top, and still has explosive bottom end. I'm running 25/49 gearing with 5t tires i think it can go up a gear or two. I left it for Peter' to have a run as you can see his unfamiliar with it and taking it easy at the beginning. The clutch seems to hook up good no lag or fade. damage for the day dog bones & diff cup...Guess who forgot to charge there battery. bang head

I asked Scott if he knew when he will be able to make more of the RC50 engines, and this is the answer i got back:

"I won't be making any in the near future, sorry."

Did something happen or is he just struggling to get those bzm cylinders?

Yes he is way behind in orders but the G340 are where he is main target is. The pound is killing the large motors and cant see it getting better any sooner. I sent a e-mail to see what the situation is. Kep you posted.

Ok

Finally got off ske with Scott, the rc40 & 50 will continue as they are a top selling motor. But there is a delay on cylinders with the Bzm company that has been taken over back from the original owner Robert so for now there is a little wait until shit is sorted at Bzm.  Hope this clears things up.

scott could put a cheaper cylinder but you wont be happy with it's durability. I think you should wait or i know of some selling a BZM 50 super for $2200,

Thanks for the offer, but i think i will wait and get a brand new RC50 6port from Scott, when ever that will be.

It's been a little quite about the production of those engines so i started the discussion again to see how far the process has come and to let Scott know that people are interested and waiting for those engines, :-)

I guess he doesn't need to be reminded, since i am probably not the only one asking for those engines.

Day guys,
there Is already some more known when the rc 50 again becomes available. Myself have had contact with ian and who said that there were problems in the cylinder factory in Italy. Maybe one of you know what the problems are and when it will be available again.

What Ian has explain to you is correct. About two years ago a couple of off the track supporters had purchased the Bzm company so that they could support their sons into some championship
races. But had know idea how to run the company and things went pear shape. So just a few months ago the original owner had re purchased or was handed the company back. And is now trying to bring it back from extinction. As for when Scotty has advised me he is working hard with them as it's not just Rc that has taken a down fall. He is expecting things to be back to normal soon. Trust me a are many waiting for these engine to be back in stock. I hope I have answered your question I can only say be patient.

Cheers
