I'm hoping Mick it won't too much, i ran the 2deg anti squat brace on the Crash tester and it seemed to really push the a*** end into the ground under acceleration, so I've got one for this too! Don't wanna waste the Symsteer's benefits with the front's in the air everywhere...  *rofl*

Combined with the right shock set up hopefully it'll be weapon around my track. thumbsup

Ahhh good stuff mate.. thumbsup

And thanks for all the positive comments fella's! thumbsup
Next break i plan to paint up the chassis that i lightened extensively, it'll be etch primed and done in white two pack. The chassis on my EK baja is done in white powdercoat and still wears off in the sand, so figured it's heaps easier and cheaper to do it myself in 2K and should last just as well in the sand.

I've got to work out which nylon parts to dye and which to leave white next to get the look i'm after, trying to visualise it with the carbon fibre parts and annoed parts once done. Gotta thinkit through a bit more yet.....  dontknow

Not to worry mate.. The colour combo you have picked will look great.  Combined with bits of C/F which will look sweet.    thumbsup
The time you have taken to clean and polish all the parts will really help in the finished product.

Well I hinted at my theme for this build awhile back, and Gabz guessed it correctly, i'm going with the legendary "Day Glo" Marlboro MX Yamaha Dealer Team from about 1986/87 like Glen Bell used to race, I remember watching Belly race at the King of the Cross in WA in 1986 (I was 9) and even though i loved KX's as a kid the Marlboro Day Glo Yamaha's just looked insane - in the pits and on the track! headbang So far ahead of their time looks wise back then!

So as true as possible i'll be trying to build a Baja 5B equivelant to the above pics. !dirtbike!

So I layed out all my nylon parts and am scratching my head working out what to dye orange and what to leave white, pretty much got it sorted, thankfully for quite a few parts I have 2 of them as Rovan gear is so cheap buying direct, so can dye one set and leave one white and see what I like best.

I had a white 5B roll cage I pinched for my EK Bug but it was a bit beaten up and well would have looked a bit shit on this fresh build even dyed, so will have to order another one and a few small pieces i'm missing that went on the EK baja also.... getting there though!

Damn, going to need a large tub to dye all that.
Just finished reading the whole thread so far.  Is going to be another awesome build I'm sure.  I remember you talking about this on OLS.  Will love watching this take shape.
